Mazah Mediterranean Eatery

Mazah Mediterranean Eatery is one of our new favorites in Columbus! Keith and I have been there together twice and I've been there two additional times. We've ordered and split the large sampler (about $12) as well as a couple of other menu items and highly recommend this restaurant. Located on Grandview Ave., this Mediterranean, family-owned restaurant is very reasonably priced, offers carry-out or eat-in (only a handful of tables). I love the five-bean salad and chicken schwarma and both Keith and I LOVE the falafel. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever tasted (seriously, how do they get it so smooth?!) I've gone back just to take home the creamy hummus dripping with extra virgin olive oil and tahini and sprinkled with paprika.

This would be a great lunch or weeknight dinner date spot for vegetarians and meat-lovers alike. I have had better baklava ... but this is the only dessert I've tried so far. Keith has a much bigger sweet tooth than me :)

During my latest trip to Mazah, the waitress said that they are working on obtaining their liquor license, so fellow wine lovers, stay tuned.

Next on our list of restaurants to try is AAB Indian Restaurant. It just opened in Grandview last weekend. We've heard good things from friends and are eager to try it.
